Exclusive : Eoin Morgan ruled out from ODI series


England’s white ball captain Eoin Morgan ruled out from ODI series. Eoin Morgan is suffering from hand injury and ECB confirmed that Eoin Morgan will ruled out from the series against India.

Eoin Morgan led their side in 5 T20I’s in Ahemdabad and last ODI game in Pune. He was passing fron the bad form also. He scored 50-100 runs in last 6 games. It will be good for world cup winning captian to take break from international cricket.

Kolkata knight Riders also in trouble after Eoin Morgan’s injury. Medical department is accessing the fittness & recovery of their captain. He might be miss first few IPL games, Dinesh Karthik may lead KKR team again in IPL 2021.

England cricket board announced that, Jos Buttler will lead England’s side in last two ODIs of the tour. Jos Butter already led England’s team in Test and some white ball games.

“I had the hand re-dressed before the start of training today but it quickly became apparent that I found myself protecting the injury and getting into the wrong positions to catch the ball,” England’s captain Morgan said.

“There’s nowhere to hide on the field in international cricket these days, especially in limited-over formats so it didn’t require any great thought to make myself unavailable. It was a freak injury and it’s extremely frustrating but there’s nothing I can do about it. It’s now just a case of letting the cut heal. I have every confidence in Jos and the rest of the squad coping without me.” Morgan said.
