Indian team will play their second ODI of the series against World Cup Champions England in Pune. First ODI was won by team India convincingly. England faced a heartbreaking loss in first ODI after great start and brilliant partnership by Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow.

Eoin Morgan is already ruled out from rest of the series, Jos Buttler will lead England’s side. While from India camp Shreyas Iyer is ruled out due dislocating his left arm. He will undergo through the surgery, might miss the entire IPL season. Suryakumar Yadav can take his position after demolishing performance in T20I series.

Toss Update :

England won another toss and opted to bowl first as expected. Virat Kohli have lost 9 toss in 11 matches in this tour.

No Suryakumar Yadav in XI, Rishabh Pant replaced his Delhi Capitals’ team mate Shreyas Iyer. KL Rahul may bat at No.4 and Rishabh Pant will bat at no.5.

England made three changes, one is forced. Liam Livingstone replaced Eoin Morgan. For middle order concern Dawid Malan back in the XI, Mark Wood rested.

Indian team completed his fifty after the end of 13rd over but lost their two wickets in powerplay. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan departs after scoring 25 & 4 respectively.

Rohit Sharma observed in good touch but very unfortunate to got out on bad ball. While Shikhar Dhawan tried to drive the length ball, got outside edge and Ben Stokes grabbed a sharp and catch.

Virat Kohli departs after scoring well made 66 runs, missed another opportunity to score a Hundred. Now, it’s more than 18 months that virat kohli haven’t scored an international century.

England scored 59 runs in the powerplay overs without losing a wicket. Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy looking in good touch. Both are playing with temperament, not looking to hit every ball.

Jonny Bairstow taking game way from Indian team, smashed his 11th ODI hundred with a six. This is good news for Sunrisers Hyderabad that he’s back in the form just before the IPL 2021.

England beat India convincingly and level the series. Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes helped England to level the series. Bad night for Indian bowlers as Bairstow and Stokes were smashed 17 sixes.

Ben Stokes departs on 99, bad luck for Stokes. But he smashed 10 huge sixes and decimated India’s bowling line up. Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes scored 175 runs in partnership and this is huge setback for India.

England won the second ODI game, now series is levelled and series decider will play at Pune on Sunday.
