Exclusive : Rishabh Pant to lead Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021


Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer suffering from an Injury. He injured while playing the first ODI against England on 23rd of March at Pune. Shreyas Iyer will undergo through a surgery, which can take 3-4 months to recover. Shreyas Iyer is all set ruled out from whole IPL 2021 season

After the completion of ODI series between India and England, Delhi Capitals campaign have announced their captain. Delhi Capitals have confirmed that Rishabh Pant will lead the side for upcoming IPL 2021 season. Rishabh Pant is one of the aggressive choice for them like Virat Kohli. It will be an better option for Delhi Capitals’ campaign.

Delhi Capitals will play their first match of the season on 10th of April in Mumbai. At the age of 23 years, he will become fifth youngest captain to lead after Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina.

“Under Shreyas’ captaincy, our team reached newer heights, and he is going to be missed immensely. In his absence, the franchise has collectively picked Rishabh to lead the team this year. While it has come under unfortunate circumstances, it is a tremendous opportunity for him to grow further. I wish him all the best in his new role.
