New Zealand won the T20I series already by winning 2 of 2 first matches, Bangladesh will face New Zealand again in Auckland for third T20I. Bangladesh New captain Liton Das won the toss and elected to bowl first. Mahmudullah suffering from thigh injury, rested for the third T20I and opener Liton Das taking the charge.

Rain have stopped the play in Eden Park, Auckland like in the second T20I. Game had ben reduced to 10 overs for each side and the powerplay of 3 overs. One bowler can bowl maximum 2 overs.

New Zealand’s opener Martin Guptill and new comer Finn Allen started the Inning with some fire. They scored 85 runs for the first wicket Partnership in just 34 balls. Both the openers have totally destroyed Bangladeshi bowling lineup. Series new comer Finn Allen scored his first international fifty in 18 balls. This is the second fastest fifty for New Zealand in T20I cricket. He joined Colin Munro in elite list.

Martin Guptill smashed 44 runs in 19 balls with 5 sixes while Finn Allen have scored 71 runs in just 34 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes. New Zealand managed to score 141 runs in 10 overs with loosing their four wickets. This was the huge total for inexperienced Bangladeshi batting lineup.

Tim Southee grabbed two back to back wickets in end of very first over of Bangladesh’s innings. Soumya Sarkar was caught and bowled by New Zealand’s captain Tim Southee in first over. Soumya was the only batsman from Bangladesh camp who was looking in form and solid.

Bangladesh shuts down their inning on just 76 runs, captain Tim Southee grabbed three for while Todd Astle grabbed four wicket haul. New Zealand were very clinical throughout the ODI as well as in T20I series. They totally dominated bangladesh team throughout this tour.
