Delhi Capitals lost their last match by just one run. While Kolkata Knight Riders beat Punjab Kings convincingly. Eoin Morgan back in form as well as Rishabh Pant scored a fifty in last match.

KKR’s batsmen were very conservative during powerplay overs. Axar Patel removed Nitish Rana, Rishabh Pant stumped him. Nitish Rana was out of form after scoring back to back fifties in first two matches.
Lalit Yadav, all rounder of Delhi Capitals grabbed two wickets in a over. He removed captain Eoin Morgan and Sunil Narine on golden duck.

Kolkata’s batsman were never looking settle throughout the whole inning. Shubman Gill got out on bad time, Avesh Khan removed him on 43 runs. This is highest score by Gill in this season so far. Dinesh Karthik were looking solid but unfortunately he was grabbed by Axar Patel. He got stumped while trying reverse sweep.
Andre Russell helped KKR for another time. He was struggling on start of his inning, but he managed very well and smashed 45 runs with strik rate of 166.67. He dispatched four huge sixes as well as 2 fours. At the end of the inning, Kolkata managed to score 154 runs in first inning.
Prithvi Shaw offered a great start to Delhi Capitals as he smashed six consecutive boundaries in the very first over. Shivam Mavi was the bowler. Prithvi Shaw collected 25 runs from that over. After Ajinkya Rahane and Luke Wright, Prithvi Shaw is the only third batsman to hit six fours in an single over.
Wow ! What a start, Delhi Capitals got in this runchase. After Prithvi Shaw’s masterclass, Shikhar Dhawan also joined the party. Both have smashed 67 runs in 6 overs. This is the highest powerplay score by any team in this season so far.
Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan added 132 runs partnership. Pat Cummins broke this partnership, Shikhar Dhawan missed a full toss delivery and got out after scoring 46 runs.
Pat Cummins got another wicket as Prithvi Shaw picked up a wrong line to hit six and great catch taken by Nitish Rana. He scored 82 runs and took 41 balls. He smashed 11 fours including six consecutive to Shivam Mavi. Another brilliant knock by youngsters.
Delhi Capitals lost two wickets at the end of the match but they beat KKR convincingly and grabbed 10 points.
