A new season but the story remains the same for Punjab. They are struggling to win games. Just the one so far this
season and to add to that, the losses they have suffered have been massive ones. If the bowling does well, the batting does not, if the batting does well the bowlingg
does not. At this stage, if you want to emerge victorious, you need to click in both departments. They would probably make a few changes in the next game. Maybe, Malan would get his first game in place of either Gayle or Pooran. Henriques could also get the axe. The Australian has fared decently with the ball but he’s in the side more for his batting in which he has failed to make an impact. The bowling has been good in the last two games so difficult to see if they make a change there. They need to
start firing starting from the game against Bangalore or qualification is going to be very difficult.

Their opponents could not have asked for a better start. They have lost just
the one game so far and look a formidable unit and really well balanced. The move to get in Sams and Patidar in the last game gave them more stability. The only issue for them right now is the form of Chahal with the ball
and Virat with the bat. They would dearly hope the two start firing which would only help their cause. They are
favorites heading into the game but Punjab have a better head-to-head record. Also, one expects them to come
hard. Who will come out on top?

When: PBKS vs RCB, April 30, 2021, 19:30 1ST.

Where: Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

What to expect: Ahmedabad has about 11 pitches six red soil ones and five made up of black soil. The black soil pitches used in India are usually on the slower
side. The tracks at this venue in this IPL have been a touch tacky with tall pace bowlers extracting tennis ball bounce.

Head to Head: PBKS 14- 12 RCB. PBKS also won both their games against RCB last season.

Probable 11s :

PUNJAB KINGS : KL Rahul (c, wk), Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Dawid Malan/Nicholas Pooran, Deepak Hooda,
Shahrukh Khan, Moises Henriques, Chris Jordan/Riley Meredith, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep
Singh.

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE : Virat Kohli (c), Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat
Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers (wk), Washngton Sundar, Daniel Sams, Kyle Jamieson, Harshal Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal. Mohammed Siraj.
